### Can I add two Tesla accounts to one Teslemetry subscription?

**No, it is not possible to add two Tesla accounts to a single Teslemetry account.** Teslemetry uses Tesla's authentication system directly, which means your Teslemetry account is linked to one specific Tesla account at a time.

### What are my options if I have vehicles on different Tesla accounts?

You have two main options:

#### Option 1: Separate Teslemetry subscriptions for each Tesla account

Create a separate Teslemetry subscription for each Tesla account. This is the most straightforward approach when:
* You want to keep the accounts completely separate
* Different family members manage their own vehicles
* You have business and personal vehicles that should remain independent

#### Option 2: Grant vehicle access to one Tesla account

Use Tesla's vehicle sharing feature to grant access from one Tesla account to another. This allows you to consolidate all vehicles under a single Teslemetry subscription.

To share a vehicle:
1. Open the Tesla app on the OWNER's device
2. Select the vehicle to share
3. Add the other Tesla account as a driver

### How do I switch between different Tesla accounts?

If you need to switch your Teslemetry account to a different Tesla account:

### Can I use the same Home Assistant instance with multiple Tesla accounts?

Yes. The Home Assistant integration is OAuth-based, so each account gets its own OAuth entry:

1. Add the Teslemetry integration once per account in Home Assistant
2. Complete the OAuth consent flow while signed in to the matching Teslemetry account (use a private/incognito window to sign in to the second account)
3. Each integration entry will show the vehicles and energy products from its respective Tesla account, and can be reauthenticated independently via HA's built-in Reauthenticate flow

Manual access tokens are only relevant for direct API or SSE clients you build yourself - the Home Assistant integration does not use them.
