Subscription, Pricing, and Account Management

This guide covers everything you need to know about Teslemetry subscriptions, pricing, and managing your account.

Subscription Overview

Teslemetry uses a per-product subscription model. There is no separate base subscription — you only pay for the Tesla products you want to access.

Subscription Components

Component

Description

Vehicle Subscription

Required for each vehicle you want to access. Provides near real-time Fleet Telemetry, streaming via SSE and webhooks, and Fleet API access.

Energy Site Subscription

Required for each energy site (Powerwall, Solar, Wall Connector) you want to access. Provides site data updates every minute and history updates every 5 minutes.

Command Credits

Optional pay-per-use credits for vehicle commands, polling, and wake-up requests ($2.50 per 2000 credits USD).

See the pricing page for current per-vehicle and per-energy-site rates in your local currency.

Important: Each vehicle and each energy site is billed individually. You can subscribe to any combination of vehicles and energy sites — there is no flat platform fee.

Common Questions

How do I subscribe to Teslemetry?

  1. Visit teslemetry.com/login to log in with your Tesla account
  2. Go to the Subscription page in the console

How do I add a vehicle or energy site to my existing subscription?

  1. Go to the Subscription page
  2. In the Modify section, toggle on the vehicle(s) or energy site(s) you want to include
  3. Click Approve Changes and complete the checkout process

Each vehicle needs to be individually added and must have the setup steps completed, including installing the Teslemetry virtual key for modern vehicles.

I switched cars. How do I update my subscription to the new vehicle?

If you have replaced a vehicle in your Tesla account:

  1. Go to the Subscription page
  2. In the Modify section, toggle off the old vehicle and toggle on the new vehicle
  3. Click Approve Changes and complete the checkout process
  4. Complete the setup for your new vehicle, including:

Account Management

How do I delete my Teslemetry account?

To permanently delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Go to teslemetry.com/delete
